Diriyah has seen tonnes of incredible openings in the past year, including French Riviera’s Chez Bruno, Hakkasan, and so many more. The historic area is now set to welcome the first Flamingo Room by tashas Riyadh.
Opening Friday September 15, Flamingo Room by tashas is the ultimate hotspot to experience African glamour offering a distinctive and elevated dining experience for lunch and dinner.

Combining elegance and sophistication with a playful personality, Flamingo Room by tashas is a testament to Africa’s refined side. The restaurant provides a chic yet relaxed dining experience – from afternoon tea to dinners. The contemporary menu showcases mostly fresh seafood prepared in a classical yet decadent expression and infused with the most interesting flavours of the season.
The Riyadh venue will feature intriguing concepts like an exquisite retail store called Collective Africa, the alluring African Lounge which will make its debut later this year, and a gorgeous Stargaze Garden which is a magical rooftop dining space and is an extension of the African Lounge. The venue will be available for private events.
The African Lounge draws inspiration from the continent’s luxury tented safaris and will offer a lavish Afternoon Tea experience, pastries and sweets.
And if you’re after an exclusive shopping experience, you need to check out Collective Africa. Here you can shop for an exclusive range of curated designer clothing, home and tableware, and objet d’art, and then head off to the Stargaze Garden and soak in rooftop views over the Wadi Hanifah riverbed.
The new Riyadh branch marks the South African brand’s latest step in its expansion into the GCC market after nearly a decade of expanding into the UAE, and there are already plans to expand further into Saudi Arabia.
