The Riyadh International Book Fair is coming back
We like big books…
We cannot lie. The Riyadh International Book Fair 2023 is almost upon us, and if you’re anything like us, you love yourself a good read.
The unique book-centric festival is set to start on Thursday September 28 until Saturday October 7, so get ready to dive right in (nose first of course) at the campus of King Saud University.

The book fair is one of the largest events of its kind to be held region-wide. It serves as the perfect platform for companies, institutions, and individuals interested in the world of literature and the processes of publishing and translation to connect. One of the main goals for each of these events is to nourish the already flourishing community of bibliophiles in Saudi Arabia and Riyadh.
You can expect cultural programs like meet-and-greets with writers, poets and intellectuals from all over the region. A couple of the editions of the events have also seen book signings, panel discussions, public lectures, and poetry evenings.
Make it a family affair and bring the little ones along to enjoy the children’s pavilion. The area will see interesting experiences like art, theatre and musical performances, among other cool engaging activities.
The 2022 edition also saw a Guinness World Record for the world’s largest pop-up book, so we can only imagine what the 2023 version has in store.
