The event will be held in partnership with the Saudi Polo Federation (SPF) and is set to take place during the flagship festival of Winter at Tantora.
Some of the best players and biggest names are making their way to AlUla for a tournament unlike any other, including Argentinian player Adolfo Cambiaso, who is widely considered the greatest polo player of all time and makes his way to AlUla alongside his teammates from La Dolfina, one of the world’s best and most iconic polo teams.
In AlUla, the tournament is to be hosted within the extraordinary landscapes of the AlFursan Equestrian Village, near Saudi Arabia’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site, Hegra. The tournament, widely regarded as the Sport of Kings, is played out in a purpose-built desert arena. The 2024 edition will be the third consecutive year that the tournament is held in the Kingdom.
The polo event has become a flagship event in the global equestrian calendar as well as a mainstay in Saudi Arabia’s sporting calendar, having hosted royalties, dignitaries, and invited patrons alongside the best players and teams internationally in past editions of the event.
Tickets for the massive event have dropped and cost SAR150 for a general admission one-day pass, SAR300 for the general admission weekend pass, and SAR500 for the full four-day pass.
