While the likes of Mozart’s Sonata No.9 in D Major and Vivaldi’s Four Seasons have hardly been charting Saudi Arabia’s top songs on Spotify, there is something to be said about the music of the baroque, classical and romantic eras that are unlike the popular music of our time.
For all you classical music lovers, the Candlelight series is back to illuminate unique venues across Riyadh.
This May and June, you can enjoy a spellbinding evening amidst the soft glow of candlelight and the most beloved classical music of yesteryear at Candlelight Concerts presented by Fever.

Saturday May 4 – Candlelight: Tribute to Ludovico Einaudi
The Ritz-Carlton Riyadh will be awash with hundreds of flameless candles as a Candlelight tribute to Ludovico Einaudi comes to town. You’ll hear 65 minutes of classical Einaudi masterpieces, from ‘Primavera’ and ‘Gravity’ to ‘Golden Butterflies’, ‘Fly’, and ‘Ascent’, with talented pianist Magda Wajdzik tinkling the ivories during the concert. Pretty magical sounding, huh?

Thursday May 16 – Candlelight: Mozart’s Masterpieces
Mozart is perhaps one of the most influential composers in the history of music, having inspired artists across the world. His timeless compositions will forever be part of our collective memory and will live on for generations to come. As candles dance and flicker, pianist Aldo Dotto will recreate the eternal melodies of the prolific composer that have mesmerised audiences for centuries. On Thursday May 16, enter a world of wonder and be swept away by the power of music inside the Crowne Plaza Riyadh Palace Hotel.

Thanks to Candlelight, you can move through the seasons in just 65 minutes as it celebrates Vivaldi’s lasting influence and thematic triumph at the Crowne Plaza Riyadh Palace. Portraying spring, summer, autumn, and winter, Vivaldi’s “Four Seasons” is, without doubt, one of music history’s most storied compositions. This performance is an opportunity like no other to bathe in the soft light of candles and experience classical melodies, making for the night out we all need.
