While the likes of Mozart’s Sonata No.9 in D Major and Vivaldi’s Four Seasons have hardly been charting Saudi Arabia’s top songs on Spotify, there is something to be said about the music of the baroque, classical and romantic eras that are unlike the popular music of our time.
For all you classical music lovers, the Candlelight series is back to illuminate unique venues across Riyadh.
This summer, Candlelight Concerts presented by Fever will offer a spellbinding evening amidst the soft glow of candlelight and the most beloved classical music of yesteryear.

Wednesday June 12 – Candlelight: Chopin’s Best Works
The Ritz-Carlton Riyadh will be awash with hundreds of flameless candles as a Candlelight tribute to Chopin comes to town. You’ll hear 65 minutes of his works live, from ‘Nocturne in C sharp minor op. Posthumous’ and ‘Polonaise op. 44’ to ‘Fantaisie-Impromptu op. 66’ and ‘Scherzo n. 2 op. 31’, with talented pianist Aldo Dotto tinkling the ivories during the concert. Pretty magical sounding, huh? You can even delight in a three-course dinner experience by the beautiful indoor pool after the candlelight concert at an additional SAR350 per person.

Friday June 21 & Thursday August 22 – Candlelight: Vivaldi’s Four Seasons
Thanks to Candlelight, you can move through the seasons in just 65 minutes as it celebrates Vivaldi’s lasting influence and thematic triumph at the Crowne Plaza Riyadh Palace. Portraying spring, summer, autumn, and winter, Vivaldi’s “Four Seasons” is, without doubt, one of music history’s most storied compositions. This performance is an opportunity like no other to bathe in the soft light of candles and experience classical melodies, making for the night out we all need.

Thursday July 11 – Candlelight: Hans Zimmer’s Best Works
The most awe inspiring music from one of the greatest film composers of all time brought to you in an intimate candlelight setting. No doubt these tracks will sound familiar, as they give life to iconic films such as “The Lion King”, “Sherlock Holmes”, “Top Gun”, and “Pirates of the Caribbean”. Still, with this concert’s sublime performance and stunning atmosphere, you’ll feel as if you’re listening to them for the first time. Enjoy this special concert where the most loved film scores are brought to you by the String Quartet against the backdrop of the stunning The Ritz-Carlton Riyadh’s ballroom.
