Rev up your engines…

Saudi Arabia has long been welcoming incredible sporting events like the FIA Formula E, Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, Rally Jameel, and the Dakar Rally.  Get ready for the Saudi Arabia FIA World Rally Championship.

Rally Saudi Arabia promises to showcase the country’s diverse and challenging landscapes on surfaces ranging from volcanic rock to sandy desert terrain.

The news was announced onsite at the ongoing Rally Italia Sardegna, at the sixth round of the 2024 WRC season. This marks the first time the World Rally Championship returns to the Middle East for the first time since the 2011 Jordan Rally. The country will be joining the calendar in 2025.

HRH Prince Khalid Bin Sultan Al Abdullah Al-Faisal, Chairman of the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation and the Saudi Motorsport Company said: “We are thrilled to host the FIA World Rally Championship for the first time in 2025. The arrival of another racing series of global stature in Saudi Arabia confirms the extent of our transformation into a major hub for motorsport in the region.”
