We don’t know about you, but for us, Riyadh Season is one of the best things about spending winter in Riyadh. From incredible events, to even better zones, we can never get enough. And Riyadh Season 2024 will have 14 entertainment areas, 10 exhibitions and festivals, and so much more. Here’s your guide to Riyadh Season 2024.
Opening ceremony
The opening ceremony will be happening on Saturday October 12. Followed by the massive IV Crown Fight in Riyadh. Beterbiev and Bivol will be duking it out as the main card, preceded by seven exciting matches featuring 14 boxers. Brought to you by major boxing promoters Matchroom, Queensberry, TR Boxing, Boxxer, and World of Boxing Promotions Company, the top-tier fight will start off by fights between Mohammed AlAkel and Jesus Gonzales, and Skye Nicolson and Raven Chapman.

New zones
Of the 14 entertainment, BLVD Business Park, Dunes of Arabia and The Venue are the new ones.
Boulevard Riyadh City will be welcoming the BLVD business park, which will include new hotels,
The Venue will be hosting the 1000 Seasons Festival, in collaboration with the international designer Elle Saab.
Dunes of Arabia will be established in the suburbs of Riyadh. The zone will feature horse riding, off-roading, and camping experiences.
AlMurabba
This time around, AlMurabba will now be permanent and will include for the first time in Saudi Arabia after Paris and New York the Christian Dior Exhibition and Museum.
The Groves
As part of the fifth edition of Riyadh Season, The Groves will return as a semi-permanent area that includes five restaurants and lounges, 16 shops, and four theatres with a capacity of up to 3,500 people.
There’ll be a Harry Potter experience
For the fifth edition of the festival, Riyadh Season will be hosting a Harry Potter experience for the first time.
Hans Zimmer concert
Hans Florian Zimmer is a German film score composer, and he’ll be performing in Riyadh this season. Although, the venue hasn’t been announced just yet, the Hans Zimmer concert will take place on January 24, as per a post on X.
Martin Lawrence comedy gig
It’s not been long since actor Martin Lawrence was in Saudi Arabia, promoting his film Bad Boys 2. But on October 17 and 18 he’ll return to Riyadh Season for a two-night comedy gig. The location and ticket prices are still TBC.
Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams
After touring global cities like London and New York, the fashion exhibition Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams will arrive in the Saudi capital as part of Riyadh Season. Taking place at the National Museum of Saudi Arabia in Al Murabaa from November 22, it will feature 500 vintage Dior dresses across 14 sections, according to SceneStyled.
Boulevard World will introduce five new pavilions
Fantastic family fun is what Boulevard World is all about. And the zone is returning in full swing this year with five new pavilions. Three of them have been revealed and include Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Iran.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s Padel Academy
Yes, you did read that right. Ever since Ronaldo moved here in 2022, the star footballer has been making big moves in the country, from a CR7 museum to travelling around the country, and a padel academy for Riyadh Season.
Real Dinosaur models
Just in: Riyadh Season owns one of the largest real dinosaur models in the world, and this year, the model will be on display at Boulevard Riyadh City.
Free zones
Riyadh Zoo
Previously divided into six zones, Riyadh Zoo is set to return this time around too. Admire all kinds of animals including flamingos, gazelles, llamas and more.
Suwaidi Park
Riyadh Season’s most vibrant celebration of cultural diversity at Al-Suwaidi Park is back. , Al-Suwaidi Park transforms its green space into a cultural hub, with each week showcasing the traditions and customs of different countries
Souq AlAwaleen
This is the perfect zone to go to, to experience the unique charm of an old Najdi market by exploring a replication of an all-Saudi souq.
