Sushisamba Riyadh is opening soon and here's how you can snag a reservation

The Nikkei and Brazilian fusion spot is already known and loved in London and Dubai…

Riyadh, get ready: Sushisamba is opening soon. The restaurant, renowned in London and Dubai for its high-energy ambience and fusion of Japanese, Peruvian and Brazilian flavours is set to open its doors in KAFD.

Sushisamba Riyadh was first announced in 2021, but is expected to welcome diners as soon as this month.

Reservations can now be made through this link, and it looks like the first available date to book a table at the restaurant is Thursday August 29.

Although we’re not sure what the restaurant will look like inside, we do know that the iconic orange tree located on the terrace of the London restaurant is already in place at the KAFD outpost. So, we can’t wait to see what other oh-so-Instagrammable elements make it into the design of Sushisamba Riyadh.

A jungle-like display of verdant plants, an exclusive sushi counter, and a vibrant soundtrack are all part of Sushisamba’s DNA, so our expectations are high.

So when Sushisamba Riyadh does open, what can we expect on the menu? In other cities, culinary highlights include wagyu gyoza, samba salad, vegetable tempura, crispy lobster taquitos, tiradito, robata grills, and of course, loads of sushi.

Riyadh will become the ninth Sushisamba location when it opens this August, joining the original in London, a second London outpost in Covent Garden, and restaurants in Las Vegas, Dubai and Singapore. A Sushisamba beach club, the brand’s first beach club iteration, also opened in Doha last year.

More new openings in KAFD

The growing number of restaurants coming to the culinary scene in KAFD is set to make Riyadh’s financial centre quite the foodie hub. Joining existing restaurants including A.O.K Kitchen, Il Baretto and Chalmont on the fine-dining scene, we can look forward to openings including Madrid-born Amazonico, smash-hit Japanese restaurant Zuma, and Paris’ beloved bistro Benoit.
