Chinwa comes highly recommended, and rightfully so. We’re told the contemporary Chinese restaurant serves some of the best ramen in ramen in town. Options include the seafood (creamy broth, egg noodles, veggies, and mussels), chicken (broth, eggs, bok choy, carrots, and white cabbage), and beef (broth, eggs, bok choy, carrots, and white cabbage).

Chinwa, Oruba Square, Al Urubah Rd, Umm Al Hamam Al Gharbi, daily 1pm to 1am. @eatchinwa

Located in Alyasmin, Haku is a quaint little spot and one that serves Japanese cuisine like no other, although we’re going to focus on the ramen for now. Serving up options like beef, chicken, shrimp tempura, and the star of the show, the chicken katsu ramen. You can also get the ramen combo with a selection of toppings, and your choice of broth, dumplings, and a beverage when you order online.

Haku Anas Ibn Malik Rd, Alyasmin, daily 1pm to 12.40pm. @hakuksa

This chain should be your go-to restaurant in Riyadh for a taste of its no-frills menu. Operating several locations in Riyadh and now in Jeddah and while Kimono only serves a two options when it comes to ramen, the chicken and beef, we’ve heard it’s some of the best. Do yourself a favour and order the beef ramen, we’ve heard it’s the best.

Kimono, various locations, including Riyadh Front & One Square, King Abdulaziz Rd, Ar Rabi, Riyadh 13315, daily 6pm to 3am.

Onami

When you think of mall food court, you’d think fast food, maybe a burger or two, but at Riyadh Gallery, that is not the case. Picture some of the best ramen you’ve ever seen (or tasted for that matter). Onami not only comes highly recommended, but might also be one of the only places you go to have ramen at 10am in the morning.

Onami, PMV5+66, King Fahd, daily 10am to midnight.

Ramen Restaurant

A Japanese and Korean fusion restaurant, Ramen Restaurant is located in Riyadh Park Mall and what’s better than enjoying a bowl of ramen at a restaurant where it’s the namesake. Flip through the menu and you’ll find incredible options include Korean and Japanese options, recommended ones include the sutah and sapora ramen from the Japanese side of things, while the spicy carbonara is one of our favourites from the Korean one.

Ramen Restaurant, Northern Ring Br Rd, Al Aqiq, noon to midnight. @ramen.ksa
