Take a walk in the mall

Mall walking

If you want to go on a walk but avoid the treadmill and also keep a rainy day (as forecasted by The National Centre of Meteorology) active, the RWG Community is organising indoor walking at the Cenomi Mall of Arabia. Walking is widely held to be one of the most beneficial forms of basic exercise, and step-counting is a great motivational tactic for achieving fitness goals. But we think it’s also a brilliant way to keep an eye out for sales while burning calories.

Steaming hot pot to dive into

@hokkaido.jeddah♬ 原创音乐 – Hokkaido هوكايدو المطعم Jeddah

As the winter chill grasps the city, it can only be time for one thing: hot pot season. For those who aren’t familiar with the concept, diners choose from a range of broth bases that bubble away in the centre of the table, before everyone throws in whatever ingredient they please. Once cooked, the meat, fish or vegetable of choice is ready to be dunked into a variety of dipping sauces. And what better place to warm the heart than this new restaurant in Ar Rawdah district? At Hokkaido Restaurant, the highlight here is their all-you-can-eat pot. Choose the ingredients that entice you, with an incredible list of choices that ranges from noodles and vegetables to fine slices of beef and seafood. They serve four different types of broth here, including spicy, tomato and miso.

Does your mouth water at the sight of sugary treats? If you’re looking for somewhere to indulge in a delicious dessert, the iconic French pâtisserie Ladurée has opened a new store in Jeddah at Fayfa Avenue, offering macarons, pastries, and savoury items. Opt for one of the many tempting treats on offer and accompany it with a selection of signature coffees and mocktails or go all out with Ladurée’s afternoon tea. Much like the menu, the new location is pretty top-tier, too. Nestled in the heart of Jeddah, the space beautifully reflects its storied heritage with charming interiors and a serene ambiance, capturing the essence of true Parisian elegance.
