Inside Riyadh's newest lifestyle destination: Solitaire

Shopping, food, and more…

The capital is set to welcome yet another incredible lifestyle destination. Solitaire Riyadh is set to open its doors in the capital soon.

Setting up shop by King Abdulaziz Road, the venue occupies an area of 60,000 square metres and is set to feature retail, food and beverage, entertainment, wellness, and sports offerings.

Spread across three levels, the destination is expected to house a second branch of Yann Couvreur from Paris, Perruche, Parkers, Said Dal 1923, Somewhere, Venchi, Joe & The Juice, Lavazza, The Butcher Shop & Grill, New Shanghai, Paul Le Cafe, Arcade Food Hall from London, and Cafe Bateel.

Retail stores have been revealed and include Bvlgari, Cartier, Dior, Tiffany & Co., Van Cleef & Arpels, Kate Spade, Louis Vuitton, Zegna, Chloe, Kayanee, RayBan, Nanan, and Cole Haan.

The project has been designed by Benoy around the concept of the geode, which is described as an angular stone exterior that evolves and softens as you move inward through contrasting layers towards its centre.

Offering views to the south of Riyadh, the location reveals views of the prestigious King Abdullah Financial District, the venue will feature high-end shopping outlets, fast fashion boutiques, and a dedicated jewellery quarter.

Solitaire Riyadh is also set to offer a luxury cinema experience, family entertainment concepts, ongoing seasonal events, and sound, light, and water activations. That’s not all, though; the destination will also have a gym and wellness centre, a day spa, and hair and beauty salons.

According to Benoy, the venue breaks down the traditional form of a shopping mall and reinvents it as partially open-air retail streets, plazas, boutique streets, and an elevated roof garden.
