Saudi Arabia develops AI-powered plan for Hajj pilgrims
The plan is designed to make the pilgrimage easier through AI tools…
Saudi Arabia is gearing up for Hajj 2025 as we speak (or rather, as I write this), and the country is amping up the management of the millions of pilgrims with rules, visa regulations, and more. This is everything we know about the Saudi AI-powered plan for Hajj 2025.
Saudi Arabia’s General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque of Makkah and the Prophet’s Mosque in Medina will now be revealing its most expansive operational plan to date for the upcoming Hajj season.
The #Nusuk_Card is essential. Every pilgrim must carry it at all times to move freely and access services at the Holy Sites with ease.#Ease_And_Tranquility#No_Hajj_Without_Permit pic.twitter.com/tRKMurMJOK

On X (formerly Twitter), the Presidency revealed that the plan will roll out the most comprehensive set of smart digital services in Hajj history. The Saudi AI-powered plan for Hajj 2025 includes:
-
“Manarah 2” AI Robot: A second-generation, multilingual AI robot designed to serve and guide pilgrims.
-
Multilingual Smart Screens: Interactive smart screens stationed at key locations to provide real-time information and assistance.
-
Digital Qur’an Platform: A global platform supporting Qur’an recitation and learning for pilgrims around the world.
-
Surah Al Fatiha App: A multi-language digital application designed to enhance understanding and engagement with one of the Qur’an’s most recited chapters.
-
Specialised Initiatives: Programmes offering religious, intellectual, and educational support tailored to the diverse backgrounds of Hajj participants.
According to Gulf News, the plan seeks to elevate and improve the pilgrimage for the Hajj pilgrims through artificial intelligence tools, smart technologies, and a wide range of digital platforms.
