Josh Duhamel is the reason to see “Bandit”

The film tells the true story of Gilbert Galvan Jr (Josh Duhamel), a man who flees a Michigan prison for Ottawa in 1984. He robs 59 banks and jewellery stores across Canada during the following four years (under the assumed name Robert Whiteman) by disguising himself as an innocent bystander whilst on the premises and leaving unnoticed as the police arrive. He finds romance with homeless shelter manager Andrea Hudson (Elisha Cuthbert), but her relatively conventional morals and work ethic mean he has to conceal his criminal activities from her. When Galvan turns to lifetime gangster Tommy (Mel Gibson) for a bigger investment, he’s being dragged into the biggest heist jobs… and into the direct sight of the brilliant Detective Snydes (Nestor Carbonell), who will stop at nothing to bring him down.

Bandit, Action, Rating R18, 2h 05min. Book your tickets here.
