About AMAALA
AMAALA is set to be an industry-redefining, wellness-focused luxury tourism destination. With sustainability at its core, AMAALA is developed by Red Sea Global and owned by the Public Investment Fund. What makes it unique is that AMAALA is the world’s first global integrated wellness destination, and it’s also aiming to have a zero carbon footprint.
The first phase of the development is slated for completion by 2024 – not long to go now – and will consist of more than 1,300 hotel rooms across eight different resorts.
Among those already confirmed, luxury longevity and medi-wellness specialist Clinique La Prairie will open a first-of-its-kind health resort, as will wellness resort operator, Jayasom.
Once complete in 2027, the entire destination will have 3,000 hotel rooms across some 25 hotels, as well as private residential villas and apartments. Plus fine dining, wellness and recreational facilities to look forward to. So you can expect a ton of tranquillity and foodie delights.
Spread across 4,155 square kilometres, the year-round destination is set in the Prince Mohammad bin Salman Natural Reserve and is further divided across three unique communities. The three communities include Triple Bay, The Coastal Development and The Island.
Sounds like we’re in for a treat.
