The desert haven pop-up is back. Located on the city’s northern outskirts, Riyadh Oasis is one of the 14 zones of the Riyadh Season 2021. The Oasis provides visitors with the chance to experience the country’s rich culture, live entertainment, and fine dining. Among the must-try restaurants are popular Greek restaurant Opa making its way from Dubai, while Lebanon’s Antika provides a fusion of Oriental flavours, and globally known Novikov presents expertly curated pan-Asian and Italian flavours.

Coin collection or numismatics is fascinating and mindboggling, and those interested can visit the King Abdulaziz Public Library. It has recently launched an exhibition of rare Islamic coins and currencies. More than 8,000 minted Arab and Islamic coins are showcased with exhibits dating back to the Umayyad, Abbasid, Andalusian, Fatimid, Ayyubid, Atabeg, Seljuk, Mamluk, and Ottoman periods.
