A peek inside Riyadh's members-only club, The Library
The club features a cigar lounge, private cinema and, of course, a library…
The Library, Riyadh’s first exclusive members club, opened in May 2020. It’s a place where the Kingdom’s business men and women can come to meet, share ideas, relax and enjoy some well-deserved downtime.
It’s story dates back centuries, inspired by the Arabian Peninsula era, when thinkers and merchants would network with like-minded individuals. The Library aims to revive this ancient tradition with a modern day twist.
An exclusive membership doesn’t come easy, and interested individuals are required to fill out a form online before receiving an appointment. You’ll then need to meet with a member of the relationship management team before you can proceed.
The club itself is designed with a chic, modern feel, with each room offering a different colour palette. The dining area is bright and colourful with natural greenery spread throughout, while the cinema is sleek and minimal, featuring plush grey chairs.
Throughout the club, there’s plenty of open plan space, making it easy to socialise and brainstorm new ventures. If you’re looking for some quiet space, check out the library where you can find a quiet nook to sit and ponder.
On the menu, the executive chef has designed a selection of fine-dining dishes to suit every taste. Plates include cheesy tortellini, genoa, ‘chicken in the garden’, hand-rolled crab sushi and much more.
