Watch Extreme E live on KSA Sports

Get up to speed with Extreme E and watch online for free…

Viewers in Saudi Arabia can watch all the 2021 Extreme E races live for free on KSA Sports.

Extreme E is a new racing series, which will showcase electric 4×4 SUVs racing in some of the most remote corners of the planet that have all been damaged by climate change. It aims to encourage reliance on electric vehicles in pursuit of a better future for the planet.

KSA Sports will broadcast live all five of the brand-new FIA-endorsed rallies as they take place over the course of the year at breath-taking locations across the world. The first of those is Saudi Arabia’s own AlUla race – Extreme E’s first-ever X Prix taking place on April 3-4.

Each race is a two-day event: qualifying is on day one to determine the top four runners who will progress through to the final on day two. As there will be no spectators, the five X Prix will be streamed online, with filming carried out by drone cameras.

Ali Russell, chief marketing officer at Extreme E, commented, “We are very pleased to welcome KSA Sports, Saudi Arabia’s leading TV sports network, to the Extreme E family. As we prepare to go racing for the first time, in the stunning setting of AlUla, there is no better channel for us to reach our Saudi Arabian fans.”

Prince Khalid Bin Sultan Al-Abdullah Al-Faisal, chairman of the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation (SAMF), added, “It is to our immense delight that they have chosen to continue to back our events with the agreement to broadcast next month’s AlUla Extreme E X Prix and the season thereafter. It marks a new dawn for motorsports on a global scale.”

SAMF is co-organising next month’s debut race in Saudi Arabia. Extreme E becomes the latest motorsport event to be broadcast by KSA Sports, following Formula 1, the Dakar Rally and Formula E.
