Looking to try something new? Dig into Levantine cuisine at the brand new Awani branch located on the ground floor of Nakheel Mall, Riyadh.
Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the restaurant promises to take you on a journey through dishes from across Levant countries, including Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Palestine, and even Jordan. Intrigued yet?
The menu offers a choice of well-known dishes, prepared according to refined yet authentic Levantine recipes with traditional ingredients, and fusing them with modern techniques and flavours.
Some of the signature items include the chicken and beef shawarma, Jordanian mansaf, and eggplant sajiyeh.
The menu also boasts a selection of beautifully presented mezze platters, such as the five varieties of hummus blends and fatteh fusions, along with fresh and warm, oven-cooked flatbreads. These and other sharing plates lead the way for a section of succulent grilled dishes for mains.
To round up the dining experience, do not leave the restaurant without indulging in Awani’s signature crumble date cake and the decadent cheese kunafeh.
If you’d like to finish on a lighter note, the classic Umm Ali is goodness in a bowl.
Previously only available at The Zone, Awani’s new branch features a uniquely modern yet ornamental style with vintage seating, Levant-inspired arts and crafts, and engraved typography reflecting the exquisite Levantine culture.
