An 'Alice in Wonderland’ outdoor escape room is coming to Saudi Arabia

Have you ever wanted to follow Alice down the rabbit hole? Soon you can do just that when an immersive escape room experience takes over the streets of Jeddah and Riyadh on December 3 and 10 respectively, transforming the cities into a giant fairy tale.

Following the success of its murder mystery experience last year, outdoor adventure company CluedUpp is back with a brand-new offering that’s based on the iconic Lewis Carroll children’s novel.
Join Alice in Wonderland and enter a topsy-turvy world of adventure, intrigue, and impossible things, and see if you can make it out of Wonderland’s “curioser and curioser” realities just like Alice did.
Get in on the magic
In teams of up to six players, you must find a way to save Alice from the Queen of Hearts. Players will encounter challenges along the way – in the form of games but also escape room-style encounters.
Solve clues from Cheshire Cat and complete Mad Hatter’s challenges as you race against the clock and uncover the conspiracy at the heart of Wonderland.
You only need to book one ticket per team. Each ticket admits up to six adults and children under 16 play for free.
Once you sign up, you’ll be given the starting location two weeks before the event, along with a “pre-game briefing”.
Participants can start anytime between 9am and 2pm. Entirely self-guided, it’s a puzzle-solving experience which unfolds exclusively via the CluedUpp app.
Keep in mind that it’ll take about two to three hours to get all the clues, tackle all the challenges, and try to save Alice, so you’ll want to ensure you have enough time to get to everything.
Dress to impress
Celebrate the madness of Wonderland and get yourself into character. CluedUpp encourages players to dress up, so start planning your Alice in Wonderland-themed costumes.
You can assign a different character for each person on your team, like Alice, the Mad Hatter, the Queen of Hearts, and even the White Rabbit. And who knows, you and your friends might just win the Best Fancy Dress award.
As a bonus, prizes are also awarded for categories like the fastest team, best team picture, best team name, and best mini player for those under 16. Plus, given that everything unfolds outdoors, you can bring your furry friends along and stand a chance to win a prize for the best dog photo.
Tickets are on sale now, and space is limited, so call up your friends, round up the pups and take a trip through the looking glass to save Alice. And remember to put on some comfortable shoes.
