All the exciting hotels coming to Saudi Arabia's breathtaking AMAALA
The world’s first global integrated wellness destination has already signed up some huge international names…
One part of the incredible Red Sea gigaproject on Saudi Arabia’s northwest coast, AMAALA is set to be an industry-redefining, wellness-focused luxury tourism destination. With sustainability at its core, AMAALA is developed by Red Sea Global and owned by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), and when the first phase of the development opens in 2025, it will feature more than 2,000 hotel rooms across a dozen resorts.
Here are all the hotels confirmed for AMAALA so far.
Four Seasons Resort and Residences in AMAALA
A new addition to AMAALA’S Triple Bay development will be a beautifully bliss 220-key Four Seasons Resort. As well as an array of sumptuous rooms and suites, the development will have a collection of villas complete with private pools, as well as 26 branded residences. Guests checking-in to all room categories can look forward to Four Seasons’ renowned luxury service, pampering at the Organic Spa Garden, and a choice of dining at six restaurants and bars.
Equinox Resort Amaala
Equinox Resort Amaala will form part of the exclusive Amaala Marina Village, which is within the wider Triple Bay development.The 128-key property will boast two luxury penthouses, as well as a suite of amenities such as several world-class culinary concepts, a magnesium salt rooftop pool, spa, Beach Club, and a signature Equinox Fitness Club, offering a full immersion into all things wholesome and holistic. The hotel’s interior design, by renowned architecture firm Foster + Partners, has been curated to ensure complete connectivity to the surrounding area. The hotel will have four open courtyards, which take inspiration from traditional architectural styles. The shaded courtyards, complete with stunning landscape and water features, will naturally cool the air, allowing guests to enjoy the resort even during the warmest days.
Six Senses AMAALA
Pioneering wellness operator Six Senses is headed to AMAALA. The luxurious eco-conscious brand is set to bring its second hotel to Saudi Arabia with a property that will form part of Triple Bay, one of the key developments within the AMAALA masterplan. The collection of 64 rooms, six suites, 30 villas and 25 branded residences have been designed to look like a traditional coastal village, using the local topography and materials to inspire the aesthetic. The resort will unroll along one of the most dramatic landscapes at Amaala’s Triple Bay, with mesmerising views of the Hijaz Cove and the Red Sea. At its beating heart will be Mesa, that after centuries of wind and water erosion has seen the dramatic site fill with overhangs and caves.
Rosewood AMAALA
If your idea of a dream vacation means sun, sea and restorative wellness, then listen up: Rosewood Hotels & Resorts’ upcoming AMAALA property is a name you need to know. The new resort will have 110 guest rooms and suites, and 25 branded Rosewood Residences. The property is also set to feature various culinary options, covering everything from fine dining restaurants to casual eateries and club lounges. The property has been crafted at every level to prioritize longevity, while also creating a physical structure that will foster an environment of wellness and tranquillity.
Clinique La Prairie
The first hotel to be announced for AMAALA was a first-of-its-kind health resort from Clinique La Prairie. Guests will have access to a state-of-the-art facility in Amaala, offering exclusive programmes and holistic wellness that are the foundations of Clinique La Prairie for 91 years. Occupying 36,115sqm, the exclusive resort will feature 52 guest rooms and suites and 13 villas, built around a core building – the central “Longevity Plaza” – that houses the facilities for Clinique La Prairie’s four pillars of longevity: medical care, nutrition, movement and well-being. It will have a diagnostics lab, museum, beach club, workshop and training rooms, private dining space, and even a cooking school, ensuring visitors can embark on a unique journey of rejuvenation and self-discovery.
Jayasom Wellness Resort
Wellness resort operator, Jayasom will deliver an integrative multi-generational health offering at AMAALA’s Triple Bay. It will include 153 tastefully furnished guest rooms and 24 branded residences available for sale to private owners. With a focus on immersing guests in a journey of personal transformation, the resort will be designed to meld with the entrancing landscape of the Red Sea coastline within a horseshoe-shaped natural land formation. Central to the project will be a 7,000-square-meters area dedicated to six Jayasom pillars of wellness wisdom – holistic health, fitness, physiotherapy, nutrition, aesthetic beauty, and spa – where guests can enjoy a comprehensive array of wellness treatments and facilities.
What is AMAALA?
Once complete in 2027, the entire destination will have 3,000 hotel rooms across some 25 hotels, as well as private residential villas and apartments. Plus fine dining, wellness and recreational facilities to look forward to. So you can expect a ton of tranquillity and foodie delights.
Spread across 4,155 square kilometres, the year-round destination is set in the Prince Mohammad bin Salman Natural Reserve and is further divided across three unique communities. The three communities include Triple Bay, The Coastal Development and The Island.
