Aseer is set to be a vibrant urban center and tourist destination soon

HRH Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman just launched a new development…

It’s raining megaprojects out here in Saudi Arabia. The country has been making major announcements all week, and now with Ardara in Aseer being launched, it’s safe to say we’re just getting started.

The new company’s first development will be AlWadi in Aseer Region, which will become a vibrant urban centre and tourist destination for both local and international visitors.

Being designed in line with Vision 2030, the new destination will be modelled in the distinctive Aseer architectural style with a rich historic heritage. AlWadi – meaning “the valley” – will span 2.5 million square meters and will be produced with sustainability at its core.

The destination will offer over 16 kilometres of waterfront extending across the length of the project, and 17 kilometres of sport trails, as well as cultural and community activities. AlWadi will feature five districts offering unique experiences, with a range of residential, hospitality and recreation options to be provided as phase one of the project opens over the next three years.

The five districts will house 2,000 residential options including high-end apartments and villas, luxury hotels, commercial spaces and business spaces. Ardara will also provide investment and partnership opportunities in sectors like hospitality, arts, culture, food and agriculture, as well as retail and entertainment, to further strengthen the partnership with the private sector.

If there’s one thing we’re looking forward to with Ardara in Aseer, it has to be jumping into the cool water after a long day. Are you ready to dive in?
