Meet the newest Italian restaurant in Riyadh, Forno Del Buffone
This is the first permanent space…
We don’t know about you, but for us, Italian food might crack the top five of our favourite cuisines (and that’s saying something). And now, there’s a brand-new one in town. Meet Forno Del Buffone Riyadh.
Throwing tradition out the window to make room for originality in the kitchen, the new contemporary Italian venue has previously served as a pop-up concept in NEOM and AlUla.

We’re looking forward to hot pizzas from the wood-fired oven and fresh daily-made pasta.
On the menu, you can find everything from minestrone di verdure or roasted mushroom soup to a signature burrata Buffone salad. We’re also expecting modern twists on Italian classics like arancini, eggplant parmigiana and crispy calamari.
An example of just how interesting the menu actually is, is the fusion of Saudi and Italian cuisine with the creation of the risotto saleeg.

Other pasta options include Nonna’s gnocchi to Mama’s lasagna, and for your mains, you can tuck into Italian classics with modern twists like veal Milanese and pistachio veal.
End your meal on a sweet note by tucking into everything from Limoncello pie, mini bonbons, pavlova, and tiramisu to calzones stuffed with Nutella.
The venue also has another permanent location in the capital in the works, so stay tuned for the latest at What’s On Saudi Arabia. For now, check out Forno Del Buffone Riyadh at its new An Nakheel location today.
