The distinctive design will be inspired by the whirlpools that form off the coast of the Arabian Gulf, and the stadium will meet the needs of both entertainment and sports activities since promoting sports is a key pillar of the Quality of Life Program and Saudi Vision 2030.

New Murabba Stadium
Catering to a capacity of over 45,000, the stadium will be a central pillar of New Murabba, the transformative downtown destination in Riyadh City. Inspired by the layered overlapping planes and peeling planar texture of the native Acacia tree. Innovation is also at the heart of the operation, so the design reflects a fusion of both aspects.
