Check out the design for AMAALA's stunning yacht club

Complete with berths for 120 yachts, a terrace restaurant, infinity pool deck and rooftop cabana lounge…

A beating heart of ultra-luxury Saudi Arabia development AMAALA is the Triple Bay Yacht Club, and this week we’ve had a first look at what to expect from its breathtaking design. Set over a sprawling 7,900 square metres, the four-floor yacht club is described as a “one-of-a-kind meeting point between land and sea.”

Brought to life by leading architecture firm HKS, the design inspiration comes from both the unique rock formations on the Saudi Red Sea coast, and the human relationship with the sea and maritime history in the region. As such, jaw-dropping cantilever terraces have been designed to echo the natural shape of the surrounding cliffs; and the smooth white exterior cut back to reveal a rich palette of natural materials are odes to the traditional Arabian house.

Set to be come a home-from-home for members that set sail for Saudi Arabia’s northwest coast, the yacht club will become a hub for luxury yachting enthusiasts visiting for both business and pleasure. Inside the Triple Bay Yacht Club, a palette of brass and champagne colours will dominate across a terrace restaurant, infinity pool deck and rooftop cabana lounge. The venue is expected to play host to yachting events, regattas and launches year-round.

Alongside the yacht club, an 120-berth marina will be able to welcome yachts up to 130 metres in length. Deepwater super yacht berths, fuel dock and personalised service ensures Triple Bay’s future rating as a destination for visiting super yachts, international regattas and domestic cruising.

“We anticipate that AMAALA will become an international hub for luxury yachting, and as such, the yacht club required a world-class design, influenced by the surrounding natural elements and Arabic heritage, and underpinned by our commitment to sustainability,” said John Pagano, CEO of AMAALA.

Triple Bay, which is set along three natural bays on the coast, is due to welcome its first guests in 2024. Positioned as a one-of-a-kind global wellness hub, it consists of eight resorts, a range of restaurants, shops and leisure facilities.
