Regent and InterContinental hotels to open in KAFD
The hotels will open their doors in 2027…
Opening hotels in Riyadh is no small feat, and IHG Hotels & Resorts is bringing two brand-new ones to the capital’s King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD). We’re now welcoming Regent and InterContinental hotels in KAFD.

As part of the IHG-KAFD partnership, there will also be a Kimpton property opening at KAFD, which is set to debut by the end of 2024, bringing its total to three properties in KAFD.
Regent Riyadh KAFD will mark IHG’s inaugural Regent property in Riyadh, promising unparalleled experiences characterized by serene touches and thoughtful contrasts. The 250-key hotel will feature a signature restaurant, two speciality restaurants, a tea lounge, and two cafes.
The hotel will also be home to a luxury fitness facility and a Regent Spa. The hotel will also offer a Grand Ballroom, meeting rooms, VIP, and Bridal Suites.
InterContinental Riyadh KAFD, on the other hand, will feature 400 rooms. The hotel will showcase five food and beverage outlets, including a signature offering, two speciality restaurants, and a lobby lounge. The venue will also include conferencing facilities, a fitness centre, a spa, a swimming pool, and an indoor recreation area within a Retail Business Centre located in proximity.
The two hotels are set to deliver first-class and luxury hospitality for KAFD’s corporate travelers and visitors alike.
KAFD is already home to a wealth of incredible restaurants, including II Baretto, Mr Chow, and Black Tap so the three hotels will be joining an incredible neighborhood.
