There's a brand-new entertainment centre in Jeddah

It’s a family affair…

Jeddah, your time is now. After a successful opening in Riyadh, a Playocity-themed attraction has made its way to Jeddah. Get ready to meet your heroes at Playocity Jeddah.

They are the first-of-their-kind entertainment centres for families in Saudi Arabia. The attractions were launched under the name Playocity, powered by Hasbro, Saudi Arabia hospitality giant, Al Hokair Group for Tourism and Development.

Located inside The Village Jeddah, the new attraction will allow visitors to immerse themselves in interactive activities based on fan-favourite Hasbro brands and characters, such as Power RangersTransformersMy Little PonyPotato HeadMonopolyNerf and Connect4, among others. These include mechanical rides, roller coasters, a drop zone, carousels, soft play, and laser tag.

Encompassing an area of  ​​3,407 square meters, Playocity Jeddah is expected to have seven zones, including the Hungry Hungry Hippo feeding frenzy, the Connect4 Disc-O-Drop ride, an adrenaline-fuelled Transformers Laser Combat, and the Playocity Arcade like its Riyadh counterpart.

Other entertainment attractions coming to Saudi Arabia

Formula E karting experience

Saudi Entertainment Ventures (SEVEN) revealed an exciting partnership with Formula E to build the world’s first Formula E karting experiences across multiple SEVEN entertainment destinations across the Kingdom. Each attraction will offer a diverse selection of adult, junior, and dual karts, ensuring fun and safe experiences for the entire family. The attraction is set to boast tracks exceeding 400 meters in length. They will provide extended straightaways for accelerated speed, delivering an unparalleled racing experience for guests.

Play-Doh centres

Owned wholly by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), SEVEN along with Hasbro will be developing the world’s first Play-Doh-themed entertainment centres. The centres will open at SEVEN entertainment destinations in eight locations over the next 10 years. You and the family will soon be able to enjoy playscapes, creativity stations and sensory discovery activity areas, plus a party and events room.
